WHAT YOU NEED

- Filter – Chemex Bonded Filters
- Hot Water 195°- 205°
- Cafeciteaux Coffee Single Origin (Whole Bean)
Fill kettle with purified water and boil.
Fold the square filter and place it in the Chemex pot with the three layered side next to the spout.
Wet the paper filter, then discard the water.
Measure out 30 grams of coffee, grind using a medium coarse setting, and place in the Chemex.
Pour 60 grams of water (twice the weight of beans) in a circular motion till your scale reads 90 grams, and let the beans bloom for 30-40 seconds.
After the beans have bloomed, pour the water in a circular continual speed until you reach 300 grams.
Then from 300 grams to 500 grams, pour the water straight down the middle. Stop adding water when you reach 500 grams.
After all of the water has filtered down, throw the grounds and filter into the compost, and enjoy your cup of coffee!
