Keto Coffee

What is Keto Coffee and can it help you lose weight?

That’s the question I decided to research after looking through search results and working on our eCommerce space.  It’s a very popular question at the moment with the rise in popularity of the Keto diet.  If you don’t already know, the Keto diet is all about high fat, low carb, moderate protein, meant to force the body to burn fat for fuel instead of glucose, the body’s go-to source for energy derived from carbs.  It is all the rage and just about everyone on the interwebs is doing it.

After exhaustive research (1-2 minutes), I discovered there is a Keto Coffee and it’s engineered to work with the Keto diet.  It’s a powdered version of Bullet Proof coffee that most likely tastes as bad as it sounds. Basically the same BS that they were peddling with the Bullet Proof coffee movement and micro dosing LSD.  The trick is loading up coffee, that is already super healthy, with high fat products like grass-fed butter and medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) oil so that the body will convert those fats into energy.  Well, if you haven’t tried Bullet Proof coffee, you should.  I’m not going to lie about it, its pretty good.  All that fatty goodness complemented by a good quality coffee is very filling and comforting, especially on cold days.  But, I suggest a different path.  How about we not put all that in our coffee?  Part of the Keto diet is low carb, and other than water, you cant get much lower carb than coffee.

The health benefits alone, which I wont get into, in coffee should be enough to persuade you to enjoy it black, but now with specialty grade coffee, you can actually enjoy the coffee for the flavor.  No more choking it down and training yourself to drink it black, which is what I hear people say all the time.  Try drinking a quality coffee black and without expectation and see where it brings you.  Coffees have more flavor components than wine, meaning they are more complex, more flavorful, and yet we don’t adulterate our wine with additives like cream and sugar.  My whole point is give it a go black and see where it takes you.  Nothing is more Keto than that.  While you’re at it, we have an amazing coffee from Keto Tepasi in  Papua New Guinea.  Coincidence?  Check it out below:
